Project Overview
The ageing polycarbonate roof sheets had lost much of their light transmission, leaving the veranda noticeably darker. At the junction with the neighbouring roof, there was no suitable flashing. Roofing sheets had been held down with bricks in an attempt to cover the opening, but water was still entering through the area.
The existing roof covering was renewed using a combination of Dover White COLORBOND TRIMDEK sheets and clear polycarbonate sheets. A custom flashing was fabricated and installed at the junction between the two roofs to close the gap and improve weather protection.

Competed Result
The completed patio roof combines Dover White COLORBOND TRIMDEK sheets with clear polycarbonate panels, allowing more natural light into the veranda. A custom flashing now covers the junction between the two roofs and provides a properly finished transition at the previously leaking area.
